Nicholas Costopoulos is a self taught fine art photographer based in Massachusetts. Born and raised in Boston, he has spent the better part of 10 years living in and photographing the outer Cape Cod towns of Truro and Provincetown. While on Cape Cod, he attended workshops and honed his photographic skills documenting the ever-changing landscape of the Cape Cod seashore.

Currently working in his East Boston studio, he continues to practice the art of photography with a range of interests such as alternative process printing, portraiture, and figure studies. He has embarked on a new long term project, Coming Home Again and Again, examining and documenting his identity as a second generation Greek American coming to terms with his familial, cultural, societal, religious, intergenerational trauma, and spiritual life. Caregiver is the beginning of this project and his thesis. He holds an MFA in Visual Arts, from Lesley University’s College of Art+Design, in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Portrait sessions are available by appointment.
